All information such as donors credit card information, is kept confidential by the Bank. Abused Women And Children web site utilizes the internet security protocol known as “SSL” “Secure Sockets Layer” This is a certificate and encryption designed to make donor credit card information as safe as possible.
If your browser doesn’t support SSL technology, you will receive an error message when trying to access the SSL, ‘Secure Sockets Layer” in our page.
Credit Card Call in
If you call Abused Women And Children with your credit card information, it is only accessible to a small number of trusted staff who have been specially trained in processing this information.
All online or website direct transactions
Once your credit card information has been processed, via our website, Abused Women And Children staff does not see your actual credit card information.
The credit card information is between the Abused Women And Children’s bank and the bank’s cyber space bank used to transmit the transaction.
These are strictly bank to bank transactions and Abused Women And Children personnel does not have access to this information.
